Arthritis aches and swelling can be
eased with a little bay oil. Heat a few bay leaves in a bit of olive oil over
low heat for about 20 minutes. (Keep the heat low enough to prevent the oil
from burning or smoking.) Then remove it from the heat. After the mix cools,
strain out the leaves. Use the oil, as needed, by massaging it into the sore
areas. Bay oil is also great for lower back pain, varicose veins, muscle
sprains, and swollen areas!
