Researchers at the University of Tennessee recently studied the
diets of more than 7,000 men and women. They found that those folks who
consumed at least three servings of fat-free or low-fat dairy products every
day had the lowest levels of body fat.
Why? “A diet high in low-fat dairy products causes fat cells to
make less fat and turns on the machinery to break down fat,” explains stud
author Michael Zemel, Ph.D. Now that’s news we like to hear!
