Foods To Take for Chronic Pain Part 1

Chronic pain is one of the most common health issues in the Western world. We’re talking about back pain, neck pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, migraine, headaches- and the list goes on.
Most doctors have no other options than prescribing pain killers. As your body adopts, though, the pain killers need to be stronger and the side effects become more severe.
But did you know there are several common types of foods that have an amazing ability to eliminate all types of pain?
You probably have most of these foods in your kitchen already or can find them in your local supermarket.
In today’s article, we will look at what needs to be in your ‘first aid from the kitchen’ plan, and give you some items for your next grocery store trip.
Pain comes from all sorts of input: a strenuous workout, arthritis conditions, chronic disease, depression, and the list goes on.
But the method to beating back the pain doesn’t always have to come from a bottle of pills. Sometimes it’s as easy as knowing what to eat. If you are suffering from pain and want natural alternatives to fix it, see the list below for the right kids of foods that heal:

Ginger- This amazing and zingy root has been used for centuries as a pain-relieving agent. It soothes everything from stomach ache to joint pain. It is used extensively in teas, soups, and other Asian cuisine as a critical element for healing. Its antioxidant properties make it ideal to crush inflammation that ravages joints.
Grate it and add to breads, broth, tea, and smoothies. Keep it fresh by grating or blending a whole ginger root, divide into ice cube trays with a little water, and freeze.
Cherries- the chemicals in these little beauties do wonders for muscle pain. In just 2 cups of black cherries, there is enough of the chemical that eliminates C-reactive protein (a key inflammation cause) as popping 2 Advil. As well, cherries have lactic acid-eliminating properties that help to keep the burn out of muscles that occurs the day after a workout.

Unclog a Stuffy Nose with Pepper

Both red and black pepper dilate blood vessels in the nose and stimulate secretions., which helps drain sinuses. Red pepper also called cayenne has the added benefit of containing the chemical capsaicin, which experts believe serves as a natural anti-inflammatory.
To clear up our stuffy nose, simply spice up our food by sprinkling red or black pepper (ground or flaked), to taste, on our lunch dinner. These spices blend especially well with salads, soups, chicken, and pasta.
How does pepper compare to commercial decongestants? Both products dilate your nasal passages, but only the spices will stimulate secretions Depending on our tolerance for hot, spicy flavors, the therapeutic effects of these peppers will vary. Two teaspoons will do. Anything under a teaspoon may give us only mild improvement.

Tart Cherries or Tart Cherry Juice for help to get Sleepy

Tart cherries (Montmorency) actually contain a natural form of melatonin that can help you to naturally get sleepy and more easily fall asleep.  You could found frozen tart cherries in specialty grocery stores and use them for a late night smoothie occasionally.
You could also found a tart cherry concentrate in Whole Foods and other health food stores that you can add to a drink or caffeine-free tea at night to help get you that low dose natural melatonin.  Use 1 spoonful of this tart cherry concentrate in a cup of chamomile or mint tea late at night.  This helps immensely for calming down and falling asleep at night.
A side benefit is that tart cherry also contains powerful antioxidants that fight joint pain, gout, and other inflammation related problems.

Natural Remedy for ED Disorder

ED is a common disorder affecting millions of men of different ages all over the world. In fact, 1 in 10 men suffers ED at some point in their lives.
The common treatments to get rid of this embarrassing condition usually involve the use of oral medication, hormone therapy, counseling or even surgery, which is usually followed by unpleasant side effects and high cost.
The worst part is that even after suffering the side-effects of those traditional methods, only 30-40% of males experience any improvement.
Easy, natural things you can do to overcome ED without side effects.
Even though it seems too good to be true, easy lifestyle changes can completely transform your sexual life.
One of the most common factors causing erectile dysfunction is stress-related. In fact, the recent survey by Men’s Health revealed that of the 1,500 men questioned, 40 % blamed stress for poor sexual performance.
Stress and anxiety cause the levels of the male hormone (androgen) to drop which leads to low libido and less blood flow to the penis, resulting in a weaker erection.
Another lifestyle cause of poor sexual performance is the lack of exercise and excess weight. It is crucially important to exercise as it helps improve blood circulation and blood flow to the penis, resulting in longer and harder erections.
Maintaining good cardiovascular health is another important factor to improve your sexual life. For example, ED is often caused by high blood pressure or plaque buildup that blocks the arteries leading down to the genitals.

Buckwheat, Another Weapon against Heart Disease

Buckwheat is actually one of the most concentrated food sources of rutin, which is responsible for many of its health benefits.
“Buckwheat’s lipid-lowering activity is largely due to rutin and other flavonoid compounds. These compounds help maintain blood flow, keep platelets from clotting excessively (platelets are compounds in blood that, when triggered, clump together, thus preventing excessive blood loss), and protect LDL from free radical oxidation into potentially harmful cholesterol oxides. All these actions help to protect against heart disease.”
